Reading the book of Jeremiah is like reading a current news feed. Nations in upheaval. Leaders coming in and out of power. People turning from God and His ways. The true state of people’s hearts and the consequences of sin. But through all of that comes a voice crying out, “Hear the Word of the Lord! Repent! Be changed! Turn to God! Know His Word and Follow Him!” And through the power of the Holy Spirit, that’s what we’ll happen as we study Jeremiah—Chapters 1-24.

You may choose to study Jeremiah, Part 1 (Chapters 1-24) using the Precept Upon Precept workbook or by inductively studying the text utilizing a folder containing observation worksheets, suggested word studies, and cross references.

Hosea, an old-testament prophet, preached his own life message using his marriage as the sermon illustration. The study of Hosea looks deeply at that message. The book will challenge us with judgment so harsh it will singe our hair. But it will show us the kind of love we dream about. Be amazed by the love of Hosea for his wayward spouse—and more amazed by the unfailing love of God for His wayward people, and for all people.

The book of Hosea holds a deeply personal and passionate love story, along with harsh truth and God’s judgment. Studying this book using Jennifer Rothschild’s study “Hosea—Unfailing Love Changes Everything” will both challenge and amaze you. Challenge you with examples of people’s hearts both near and far from God; amaze you with the unfailing love of God and the hope of His promised Messiah.

All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. But The Enemy always fails miserably when he meets a someone prepared. The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer’s inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory.

There is only one pathway to holiness, one road to genuine revival, and that is the pathway of humility or brokenness. Brokenness is where true revival begins.

As we read Nancy Leigh DeMoss’s book Brokenness and related Scripture, we’ll gain a deeper understanding of biblical brokenness. It’s not a sad and gloomy emotional state, but a place of humility and contrition before a holy God where we can experience true restoration of our hearts.

Sooner or later, every mother will stop and ask herself, Is this all I am? God has instilled motherhood with meaning and purpose as part of His greater plan for humanity. Whether or not a woman has been called to traditional motherhood, she demonstrates her nurturing gifts daily through caregiving, hospitality, discipleship, teaching, raising children, and serving others. Together we’ll look to Scripture for evidence of God’s mission for motherhood and His greater purpose for each and every woman using Gloria Furman’s study “Missional Motherhood—The Everyday Ministry of Motherhood in the Grand Plan of God”.
