•  Women’s Ministries

    Our Purpose in Ministry:

To equip Christian women in the work of ministry for the spiritual edification,  nurturing and development of the church.

    Ephesians 4:11

Women may become a part of our ministries at any stage of life.  They can become involved because of personal interests and needs or because of their desire to minister in their home, church or community.  Women’s Ministries leaders commit themselves to motivating women to understand and fulfill their highest God given potential:  1) in maturity toward Jesus Christ, 2) in ministry to the body of Jesus Christ.

     Our Core Values:

Worship:  exalting God with our lives and our praise–To provide opportunity for women to worship together corporately.
Prayer:  Acknowledging our dependence on God–To teach and practice personal and group intercessory prayer.
Outreach:  Introducing those next door and around the world to Jesus Christ–To establish ministries to reach people who need Jesus Christ and help new believers get established in the church and become active themselves in reaching others for Jesus Christ.  To educate, pray for, and provide opportunities for service in home and world missions
Discipleship:  Teaching and preparing people to follow Christ–To develop opportunities for spiritual growth for individual women to become involved in the study of God’s Word, prayer, reading of wholesome literature, worship, development of spiritual gifts and service to the local body.
Stewardship:  Managing all God has given us according to His principles–To educate women in management of personal finances, property and all areas of their lives.
Community:  Showing Christ’s love to one another–To build a teaching ministry of biblical hospitality so that women’s homes and the church may become open doors of evangelism and ministry to people.
Compassion:  Seeking to meet the needs of others–To involve women in witness and ministry to the special needs of people in ways that provide supportive relationships, meet physical needs, provide help and tangible gifts.

“…by being likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.  Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.  Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.”  Phil. 2:2-4
